Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Production Engineer - Mechanical Quotation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to determine optimal manufacturing processes and material requirements.

• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for mechanical components and assemblies.

• Interface with clients to clarify project requirements and provide technical support.

• Monitor and update quotation records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Assist in the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in mechanical production engineering and cost estimation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of ERP systems.

• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
