APPRENTICESHIP RECRUITMENT

We understand the importance of company culture, processes and goals; that’s why our expert team are perfectly suited to support you in sourcing the next generation of engineers.

We have extensive and demonstrable experience of recruiting successful engineering apprentices, and a wide comparator group that enables us to select individuals with the qualities needed to succeed in an aviation maintenance environment.

Below is an outline of the typical recruitment process we use when finding apprentices for your business. We invite clients to be involved in the recruitment process at whichever stage they see fit, although we’d recommend this to be at the final selection from our carefully compiled shortlist.

Stage one - Understanding your needs

We will discuss your recruitment criteria including the number of apprentices you require and gain approval to start recruiting for apprentices on your behalf.

Stage two - Marketing

We will create and post apprenticeship job adverts across our social media channels and upload adverts onto various apprenticeship recruitment websites.

Stage three - Candidates apply for the apprenticeship

Applicants will submit their CV by applying for the role on our website or via external websites. Our recruiters will look through the CVs and conduct mandatory eligibility checks.

Stage four - Screening

We will carry out an in-depth analysis of the candidate, including eligibility for funding, right to work, experience and fundamental interest checks.

Stage five - Video interview

Our internal recruiters will carry out video interviews. They will ask the candidates competency-based questions to assess their suitability for the apprenticeship and your business.

Stage six - Shortlist

We will discuss the candidates with you and recommend individuals who should be invited to a face-to-face assessment day.

Stage seven - Assessment Day

We will work with you to deliver an assessment day. Candidates will be expected to carry out various apprenticeship tasks and have a final face-to-face interview with your company.
