It's December and many of you probably wonder, where has this year gone? Well, we are wondering the same thing. It’s safe to say that 2024 has been a whirlwind of highs.

Networking and Industry Events

In 2024, we attended some fantastic industry events including EBACE in Geneva, MRO Europe in Barcelona, and HREXPO in Madrid. These events not only allowed us to strengthen relationships but also provided invaluable insights into industry trends, emerging opportunities, and specific client needs, further enhancing our ability to deliver tailored solutions in the aviation sector.

Contractors in Basel

Since 2009, Resource Group has proudly placed over 5,000 skilled contractors with our clients at Basel EuroAirport, a renowned hub recognised as the European centre for VIP aircraft maintenance and completions. This remarkable achievement not only highlights our longstanding presence in the region but also reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional talent to meet the unique needs of this prestigious industry. With each successful placement, we continue to strengthen our partnerships and we are eager to carry this momentum into 2025 and beyond!

Filling Challenging Roles

In 2024, we have once again demonstrated our ability to fill even the most challenging roles where others struggled to deliver. Thanks to our dedicated resourcing hub and expert group marketing division, we successfully showcased our expertise and extensive network in sourcing Licenced Aircraft Engineers (LAEs), particularly for the B747 and B767—ageing aircraft models that are notoriously difficult to staff. Our targeted approach and commitment to finding the right talent have solidified our reputation for delivering exceptional results, even for some of the most specialised positions in the industry.

New Service Offering

This year, we have expanded our service offering by assisting clients with setting up their own businesses. Usually, we do all the work in-house and hire crew and engineers for them, but our new service enables the client to be responsible for maintaining their crew's employment. We then manage the company on the client’s behalf as they often don’t have the necessary manpower within their HR departments to handle this process.

We have successfully achieved this for four new clients this year, soon to be five. This ensures that clients can grow while staying compliant with increasingly important regulations, all whilst being cost-effective and minimising the need for internal manpower.

Recruitment

Throughout the year, our incredible recruitment team have successfully continued to meet the needs of our clients using their industry expertise and experiences, including:

• Effectively filling over 400 positions for professionals in the industry.

• Successfully implementing recruitment strategies for multiple clients to improve competitiveness and attract top international talent.

• Implementing Tax Exemption Benefits in Spain for 180 employees in under 2 months, utilising our client's software and policies.

• Delivering a rapid handover of HR payroll solutions for an entire airline covering 200+ employees across two countries.

• Managing payroll for 450 employees within one month.

• Expanding our payroll network with the addition of Italy, bringing the total to approximately 12 countries for our outsourced payroll services.
