We are currently looking for a Safety Engineer for one of our clients based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

Conducting safety assessments for avionics, software-intensive or mechanical systems.
Defining, validating, and verifying safety requirements.
Conducting risk assessments to support continued airworthiness.
Creation of safety classification of engineering changes.

Requirements

Proficiency in conducting Safety Assessments in accordance with SAE ARP 4761, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety.
Fault Tree Analysis and Common Mode Analysis.
Hands-on experience utilizing SAE ARP 4754A standards for the development of civil aircraft and systems.
Very good written and verbal English skills (C1).
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adaptability in approaching challenges, with a capacity to work independently and proactively.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within the company and with external stakeholders.
Ability to balance analytical rigor with consensus-building among multiple stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with safety objectives.
