Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a Design Engineer for one of our clients based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Developing new design solutions for aircraft structures, system integration in cooperation with specialists from various departments.

• Leading autonomous from minor to major design projects and sub-projects as part of concept and feasibility studies.

• Modelling of 3D parts and assemblies with Siemens NX.

• Creating drawings for manufacturing and installation.

• Supporting improvement of design guidelines and standards and new technology introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of design experience in the field of aerospace.

• Previous experience on Wing primary structure and Landing Gear design as an advantage.

• Experience in lateral leadership roles in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.

• English language skills on level C1.

• Desirable: Fluent in Italian.

• Proactive and persistent approaching character as well as a high sense of responsibility.
