Technical Customer Support Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Customer Support Engineer for one of our clients based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for GOV customers analysing and interpreting complex issues and resolve technical matters.

  • Coordinate on-site support with customers and maintenance organizations to address in-service problems related to aircraft systems.

  • Investigate reported failures and problems in aircraft systems and structures, offering timely resolutions to ensure optimal performance.

  • Support systems testing, including software and hardware integration.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers and maintenance organizations for continuous improvement in aircraft systems.

  • Prepare, review and update technical documentation, including memos, reports and maintenance procedure instructions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical customer support roles within the aviation industry.

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting complex systems, structural issues and operational challenges within an aircraft OEM environment.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English as well as willingness to travel internationally.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication with customers and maintenance organizations.

  • Strong project management and task prioritization skills.
